Wedding photo restoration — 50-year-old parents' wedding photo in color
Black-and-white wedding photo from 50 years ago, restored to color. Period hanbok colors, suit tones, and bouquet details brought back through 32 years of Korean color data.
Wedding photo restoration requests peak at parents' 60th/70th birthdays, 50th wedding anniversary (geumhonsik), 60th anniversary (hoehonsik), and when children display their parents' wedding photo at their own wedding.
This work is the color restoration of an 8R black-and-white wedding photo (family marketing consent confirmed). Korean hanbok of 1950s–1980s varied by era. AI auto-restoration generalizes "hanbok = pink/light green" — but Davinci uses period-specific hanbok color data to restore the original colors.
The groom's deep navy or dark blue suit, the bouquet flower colors, the gold of the hanbok hair ornament — all finished naturally with 32-year data. Wedding group photos with extended family on both sides have many faces, and AI smears the rear ones — Davinci restores each face individually.
If family memory of the original colors exists, we apply it directly. If not, we reference period materials and let the family adjust during the preview round.
